HDFC Bankโs Sustainable Livelihood Initiative (SLI) is a long-running CSR program focused on empowering rural women through skill development, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship. The program has transformed the lives of millions of women by helping them become financially independent and socially confident.
The objective of the video was to capture this transformation โ not through data alone, but through emotionally compelling stories of real women across rural India.
Our Approach

โข We filmed in multiple remote villages across the southern states, capturing a wide spectrum of activities โ tailoring, goat-rearing, small businesses, kitchen-based enterprises, and more.
โข The production was intentionally kept lean and unobtrusive to allow authentic interactions and moments to unfold naturally.
โข The narrative was designed to be cinematic, yet rooted in realism โ using interviews, daily-life visuals, and integrated motion graphics.
โข A warm, earthy visual tone was used, supported by a teal-orange grade to add a contemporary yet grounded feel.
